Hollister Construction Company celebrates over 25 years with ZERO lost days due to accident
At Hollister Construction Company, our primary goal is to maintain a safe working environment for all employees, clients and visitors. At the onset of each project, an HSE Supervisor will be assigned to monitor and follow the HSE Program.
No sacrifices or questionable safety practices will be made in the effort to reduce costs or accelerate the project schedule by Hollister Construction Company or its subcontractors.
The objectives of our HSE Program are as follows:
To accomplish our objectives, we have adopted the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1, whether it's a project requirement or not.
We've implemented this program as it's the most stringent available and has a proven record of preserving lives and property.
Our program includes, but is not limited to, the following plans, as required:
Our safety program requires a company-wide commitment from each and every employee with recurring training and discussion. On each project, our Superintendents conduct mandatory daily safety "toolbox talks" with all personnel onsite. Mandatory weekly and monthly meetings are conducted covering relevant sections of the "EM 385-1-1 for upcoming tasks and general well-being. Frequent inspections of the work site are made by the HSE Supervisor to verify compliance.
Documentation of all daily, weekly and monthly meetings will be posted on our site specific website for customer review.
Safety orientations will be conducted and required for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
Our HSE Program mandates the following prior to employment for our employees:
Hollister Construction Company reserves the right to require subcontractors to submit Urinalysis Testing for its employees.
