Orange Main Library
This 20,000 SF building was renovated for the City of Orange in the late 90’s for approximately 1.3M.
The building features story time structure in the children wing with black lights suspended from the ceiling. Furnished with bean bags, it’s a great place for kids to listen to stories read by librarians or volunteers.
Our work included asbestos remediation, a computer lab, conference rooms, restrooms, casework and specialty finishes.
Centered above the main corridor is a bright turquoise radiant ceiling with perforated panels. The wave shaped panels were designed by Robert Coffee, AIA who has designed other public libraries including additional branches for the City of Orange.
